Review of Bogentrakt HostelDuring my recent overnight stay at Bogentrakt, I was pleasantly surprised by how this unique property-formerly a prison-has been repurposed into a comfortable accommodation. Located just a short 5-7 minute walk from the train station, the hotel is easy to locate, marked by its arched drive-in entry. The check-in process was seamless, and I found the room clean, with crisp white linen bedding that promised a good night's sleep. The bunk beds were roomy and equipped with privacy curtains, adding a layer of comfort. While the shared bathrooms were modern and spotless, a touch of noise from the corridor was occasionally notable. What sets Bogentrakt apart are its excellent facilities, including a communal kitchen and a welcoming lounge area-ideal for travelers seeking a budget-friendly option without compromising quality. The staff also proved to be accommodating, swiftly handling our laundry request. For those weighing luxury against value, Bogentrakt offers a thoughtful balance; it's a chic yet budget-conscious choice for a memorable stay in the heart of Chur.
